Clonella

Clonella is an AI companion app for creating custom virtual characters and chatting with them across ongoing conversations. Users can browse existing characters or make a companion from scratch by setting its appearance, personality, backstory, voice, and traits. The service also supports reference-photo-based character creation, subject to its consent and rights requirements.

The companion supports open chat, roleplay, persistent memory, and group conversations with multiple companions. Users can request images of their character from inside a chat, while the pricing page also lists video generation as a credit-consuming feature. Clonella is available through the web on desktop and mobile devices.

Clonella's terms require users to be at least 18 and prohibit content involving minors or the unauthorised imitation of real people. The product pages state that chats are private and are not shared with third parties or used to train models, although the public privacy page was not readable during research.
