General Terms of Service

1. These Terms

By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. If you submit, claim, update or maintain a tool listing, the Tool Owner Listing Terms also apply and are incorporated into these Terms. They control if there is a conflict about a listing-specific matter. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information.

2. Visitors, users and Tool Owners

Visitors may browse public pages without an account. You must be at least 16 to create an account, submit a tool, claim a listing, or manage or update a listing. You must also be legally able to enter into these Terms and permitted by law to use the relevant Service feature.

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details and promptly tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not use another person’s account or share a personal account. We may ask a Tool Owner or representative for reasonable proof of identity or authority before providing listing-management access.

3. Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully and for its intended purpose. You must not:

• submit unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, infringing or materially misleading content;
• impersonate another person or organisation or misrepresent your authority or affiliation;
• upload malware, phish, probe or bypass security, evade limits, or interfere with the Service;
• scrape or use automation in a way that unreasonably burdens the Service or disregards technical restrictions;
• harvest personal information, send spam or use the Service for unlawful surveillance; or
• help another person do any of these things.

We may investigate misuse and cooperate with lawful requests. We are not required to identify every violation.

4. Content you submit

User Content means text, images, logos, screenshots, links and other material you submit. It does not include passwords, temporary review credentials or access secrets, which are handled privately for the relevant review or support function as described in the Privacy Policy.

You retain your rights in User Content. You confirm that factual claims are accurate and that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content and allow our use of it. It must not breach another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, edit, format and display User Content as needed to operate the Service and respond to your request. For public listings, this includes publishing and promoting the listing. The licence lasts while needed to provide and administer the content, subject to applicable law and our retention practices. It does not transfer ownership to us.

Information placed in public listing fields may be published and indexed. Contact details and designated private fields are used for administration and are not intended for publication. Do not put confidential information in a public field. We may use automated tools to help prepare listing content; review it carefully before submitting.

5. Our content and third-party services

We and our licensors retain rights in the Service, including its software, design, branding and editorial content. Subject to these Terms, we give you limited, revocable and non-transferable permission to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Listings may link to third-party tools and websites. We do not control them and, unless expressly stated, a listing is not an endorsement or guarantee. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

6. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features, accounts, listings or the Service. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, continued storage of drafts, publication of a submission, or any particular listing placement, ranking, traffic, leads, revenue or results. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of a material adverse change, but urgent legal, security or operational changes may occur without advance notice.

We may update these Terms, identify the new effective date and provide any notice required by law. If you do not agree to an update, you should stop using the Service and close your account.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account closure. We may reject content or restrict, suspend or terminate an account, role, submission or listing if we reasonably believe these Terms, the Listing Terms or law have been breached; authority or information cannot be verified; action is needed to prevent harm, fraud or a security risk; or the relevant Service is discontinued.

Where appropriate and lawful, we will give notice and a chance to correct the issue. We may act immediately for urgent or serious matters. Account closure does not necessarily require removal of non-personal, factual listing information that we may lawfully publish independently.

Terms that need to continue by their nature—including ownership, content permissions, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and dispute provisions—survive termination.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and listings are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that a third-party tool or its listing is accurate, safe, lawful, available or suitable. You should independently assess a third-party tool before relying on or purchasing it.

We do not guarantee publication, ranking, traffic, leads, revenue or results. Nothing in these Terms affects rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beyond The AI and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity or data, arising from the Service. Nothing excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Indemnity for business users and Tool Owners

If you use the Service for business purposes or as a Tool Owner, you will indemnify Beyond The AI against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from content you submit, claims you make about your tool, your infringement of third-party rights, or your material breach of these Terms or the Tool Owner Listing Terms.

11. Governing law and general terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of mandatory rights or forums available under applicable law where you live.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a reorganisation, merger, sale or transfer of the Service, subject to law. These Terms, the incorporated Listing Terms and any expressly applicable additional terms form the agreement about the Service.
