For tool owners
Tool Owner Listing Terms
Effective 6 August 2026
These terms apply when you submit, claim, review, update or manage a tool listing on Beyond The AI.
1. Scope
These Tool Owner Listing Terms (Listing Terms) supplement and are incorporated into the General Terms of Service. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
If these Listing Terms conflict with the General Terms about a listing-specific matter, these Listing Terms control. Tool Owner means the person or organisation that owns or operates a tool. Representative means a person authorised to act for it. You must be at least 16 to enter into these Listing Terms.
2. Your authority and account
By submitting or managing a listing, you confirm that you are the Tool Owner or have its authority to act and provide the information. You must give accurate account and role information and tell us promptly if your authority ends.
We may ask for reasonable evidence of identity, authority, employment, domain control or ownership before allowing a claim or management action. We may withhold or remove access if we cannot verify it. Verification helps administer the directory; it is not a legal decision about ownership.
Keep your account secure and report suspected unauthorised access to [email protected].
3. Accurate and current information
You are responsible for checking information you submit or approve. It must be accurate, current, not misleading and supported where necessary. Tell us promptly if material information changes, including availability, capabilities, limitations, pricing, ownership, links, discounts or commercial offers.
We may use automated tools to help prepare, format or categorise listings. You remain responsible for reviewing submitted or approved information for accuracy.
4. Rights to content
You may submit names, descriptions, logos, screenshots, links and other assets (Listing Content) only if you have the rights and permissions needed for us to use them, including required copyright, trade mark, privacy, publicity or third-party permissions.
You retain your rights in Listing Content. You grant Beyond The AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, resize, crop, edit, format, display, distribute and promote Listing Content as reasonably needed to create, administer and publish the listing and operate the directory. This includes using tool and organisation names and marks to identify the listing. The licence lasts while the listing is administered or published and for a reasonable period afterwards for backups, records and disputes, subject to law and the Privacy Policy.
Tell us before submission about attribution or licence conditions. We may decline content if we cannot meet them.
5. Our editorial discretion
We may edit, format, categorise or moderate a submission and may publish, reject, delay, suspend, update or remove a listing or asset. We may correct obvious errors, add appropriate disclosures and choose presentation and placement. We do not guarantee publication, timing, ranking, traffic, leads or continued availability.
We will not intentionally change a submission in a materially misleading way. Review listing information when a review step is offered and notify us of errors. We may make routine style, formatting, accessibility, safety or legal changes without new approval.
6. Temporary review access
If a private field is offered for review access, provide a temporary, unique and least-privilege account, link or licence key. Do not reuse a password or provide customer data, payment access, production secrets or unrelated-system access. Use sample data where possible and rotate, revoke or allow access to expire promptly after review.
Designated review-access information is used only to review and administer the listing, restricted to authorised staff and providers who need it, and is not intended for publication. No system is absolutely secure, and we may decline access that appears unsafe or unnecessary.
7. Commercial choices and contact
A form may let you express interest in affiliate arrangements, sponsorship, discounts, collaborations or partnerships. These choices are optional. A selection permits contact about that choice but does not create an agreement or guarantee acceptance, placement or contact. Any arrangement may require separate terms and public disclosure.
We may use business contact details for necessary messages about verification, submissions, listing administration and the Service. Optional marketing and commercial choices are separate and may be withdrawn by emailing [email protected]. Necessary administrative messages and existing agreements are not affected.
Unless separately agreed in writing, a submission creates no agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, exclusivity or endorsement relationship.
8. Listings we do not accept
Do not submit a listing or claim that is unlawful, fraudulent, materially misleading, infringing, malicious or unsafe; impersonates another person or organisation; contains malware or phishing; falsely claims ownership, affiliation, customers, approval or performance; or hides material charges, limitations, risks or commercial conditions.
You remain responsible for claims, substantiation and legally required product disclosures. Our editing or review does not transfer that responsibility. We may require more information or reject a regulated, high-risk or age-restricted tool.
9. Updates, disputes and takedowns
Use the listing update form for corrections, updates or removal requests, and the claim form for tool claims. Identify the listing, requested action and your authority. We may request evidence and retain an administrative record.
Report ownership, intellectual-property, privacy or other legal disputes to [email protected] with the listing URL, disputed material, requested outcome, contact details and supporting information. We may restrict, edit or remove content while assessing a dispute. We do not adjudicate underlying legal ownership.
We may reject, suspend or remove a listing or management access if these Listing Terms or General Terms are breached; information is misleading, outdated, disputed or unverifiable; rights or safety are at risk; or law requires it. Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and allow correction, but may act immediately where necessary.
Closing an owner account does not automatically remove non-personal, factual tool information that we may lawfully publish independently. Personal-information requests are handled under the Privacy Policy.
10. Relationship with the General Terms
The General Terms’ disclaimers, liability limitations, business-user and Tool Owner indemnity, governing-law and termination provisions apply to listings. These Listing Terms do not limit rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Contact
For listing help, verification, security, legal or takedown enquiries, and privacy or deletion requests, email [email protected].
